Galaxy on Fire (Galaktyka w Ogniu) proudly and kindly informs, that the premiere edition of the European Team Championship in Star Wars: Legion will be held in September 12th-13th, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday) in Warsaw, Poland. We are a group of game enthusiasts who have been organizing a series of local tournaments since 2018. It is our pleasure to announce that the ETC 2026 is a non-profit event and all the ticket fees and sponsor income will only cover the organization costs.

VENUE

ETC 2026 will be held at the 3-star Air Hotel (Krakowska 42, 02-284 Warsaw, Poland) located just next to the Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW). The tournament will be staged from Saturday morning (September 12th, 2026) to Sunday evening (September 13th, 2026) in room Gate 1 (ground floor).

FORMAT

Teams consist of 4 Players (including Team Captain), each one playing a different faction selected among Galactic Republic, Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance, Separatist Alliance and Mercenaries.

Team of 4 Players will be facing another randomly drawn Team of 4 Players (for Round 1 through a public draw streamed online and for Rounds 2-6 through Longshanks pairing mechanism). Detailed rules regarding individual pairings setup between two drawn teams will be included in the Team Pack that will be published within forthcoming weeks.

While each Player uses a different faction, limitations on usage of units apply. Unique hero units that can be included in more than one faction (such as: R2D2, C3PO, Bad Barch, Din Djarin, Hondo Ohnaka, Bad Barch, Din Djarin, Bobba Fett, Maul, Ahsoka Tano) cannot be included in more than one list within the Team. Detailed rules regarding list building will also be included in the Team Pack.

Teams and Players will play 3 games on Saturday and 3 games on Sunday in Swiss. Each round, preceded by 15 minute individual pairings setup, will last for 2 hours and 30 minutes plus additional 15 minutes to finish the opened round.

TICKETS & FEES

Each Team needs to purchase a Team Ticket that is valid for all four Players. Only the final payment confirms the purchase of a ticket and guarantees participation in ETC 2026.

Team Ticket includes:

• participation in the ETC 2026 SWL on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 (3 games) and Sunday, September 13th, 2026 (3 games) for all 4 Players of each Team
• buffet lunch with vegetarian/vegan options served at the tournament venue (hotel restaurant) for each Player both on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 and Sunday, September 13th, 2026

The Early Bird price of the Team Ticket is 1 400,00 PLN (approximately 328 EUR / 376 USD / 284 GBP) and will be valid until May 31st, 2026. Starting from June 1st, 2026 the price of the Team Ticket will be 1 600,00 PLN (approximately 375 EUR / 432 USD / 325 GBP).

Please mind that all the prices mentioned in this Event Info are in Polish Zloty (PLN). For your convenience we have estimated the approximate equivalent in EUR, USD and GBP, but it is provisional and for informational purposes only. Payment will be possible with any credit/debit card, Revolut, Apple Pay and Google Pay (see details below in the Registration section).

ACCOMMODATION

Our tournament has an allocation of rooms at the Air Hotel (venue of the event) for Teams & Players participating in ETC 2026 SWL at a highly competitive and special discounted rates:

Please be informed that if you book accommodation and fly over to Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) a free shuttle bus will be provided for your Team.

Team Captain’s personal details (name and surname) as well as contact details (e-mail address and phone number) will be required. At this point you do not have to share any data regarding the Players nor their allocation to factions.

Once the registration form is submitted, within 12 hours you will receive e-mail confirmation and the payment link valid for the next 48 hours. Once the payment is done, a Team will be added to the Longshanks Event and Team Captain will be able to add Players.

ETC 2026 is originally envisaged for 16 Teams, so the number of Players is limited. Please do not hesitate to register as we see high interest from Teams and Players across all Europe. In order to preserve the multi-national character of our event, a limit of maximum 4 Teams from one country will be imposed until April 30th, 2026. After that day if the event is not sold out, the limit will be lifted and any additional Team regardless of nationality will be allowed to join the event.
